Schedule for Third Annual Meeting of the Consortium of Undergraduate Law and Justice Programs, J.W. Marriott Resort, Las Vegas, June 1, 2005

 

We are pleased to announce the final schedule for the third annual meeting of the Consortium for Undergraduate Law and Justice Programs, which will be held at the J.W. Marriott Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Consortium will meet on Wednesday, June 1, the day before the Law & Society Association meeting begins in Las Vegas.

The meeting consists of three substantive sessions, opportunities for discussion at lunch and a wine and cheese reception, and a business meeting. The substantive sessions include two panels on teaching about “rights” to students in the contemporary era and one on teaching law and justice courses in the absence of a larger supporting program.

Conference Registration Information 

 

For faculty members from programs already in the Consortium, there is no charge for registration. The yearly dues are used to cover the registration costs for participants in member institutions. To register, complete the attached registration form and email or fax Nancy Quillen (quillen@udel.edu; fax: 302-831-0688). You may also mail the completed registration form to: Criminal Justice Program, Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, University of Delaware, Newark, DE 19716, “Attn: Nancy Quillen, CULJP registration.”

 

For others who wish to attend, but whose programs are not currently members of the Consortium, you are welcome to attend; there is a $35 fee per person for registration to cover the meeting costs. Please note, if your program joins the Consortium this year, the registration fee may be deducted from the yearly dues.
